Gansbaai at Whale Song lodge (Standard Room) → Villiersdorp at Theewaterskloof Golf Estate (Karin & Winfried)
"We both woke up, well rested! We packed some small things, got ready and went around 8.30h for breakfast. It was so lekker again. I did decide today it is a breakfast without any eggs. ;-)
We packed then the little rest, packed up the care and went off to Hermanus around 10.15h. We had a little walk through the main road, filled up the car, draw some money and we went around 11.15h in direction Villiersdorp. We arrived 12.05h.
Winfried expected us and welcomed us. Karin was still at her painting class and arrived a little later. We had a nice cup of coffee and tee had a little chat and had a nice butternut soup for lunch.
After a very nice and quite long nap we had coffee time at 16.30h. An hour later Dutch friends from Karin and Winfried – Ad & Leonne arrived. We had a very nice evening!!! Karin prepared everything for a Potje Kos and Winfried cooked it so nicely. The men had a nice chitchat and we women as well. The food was very lekker. When it got dark and a little windy we had also a nice Glühwein. Incredible good! _
After the Dutch neighbours left we talked a bit further had a last Brandy and went 23.30h in our room.
We got ready for bed, I downloaded the photo’s, checked my (birthday-)email, wrote diary and my hubby congratulated me at midnight for my birthday.
We closed our eyes ay 0.40h"
